Sky Clear 3: Ground Generator

For the individual use we offer the ground generator of series "Sky Clear", which characterized by maximum optimization of various parameters (especially price and security of use). Nevertheless, its effectiveness is comparable to the generator "Sky Clear-250" and far beyond the effective liquid generators, such as used in the project ANELFA" (France).

Generators can be used to suppress hail processes in the supposedly hail-dangerous situations, as well as to increase the amount of precipitation. Efficiency of the use of generators increases with multiplying of the amount of simultaneously workings generators and protected territory.

  • Mass of pyrotechnic mixture = 150 g
  • Production of ice-forming nuclei at - 10oC per second = 3.75E+12
  • Production of ice-forming nuclei at - 10oC from generator = 4.5E+15

  • Preferred location of the generators = at higher elevations in the direction of passage of hail cell
Use of generators "Sky Clear 1" at a suitable orography, reduces damage from hail processes on 30-40% (the most advanced missile technology to reduce the damage from hail on 60%)
