Big Aerosol Chamber
Characteristics: Volume 3200 m3, height 18 m, diameter 15 m

The Big Aerosol Chamber is designed for modeling and studying some geophysical processes including hazardous hydrometeorological phenomena (for example, clouds and fogs) at positive temperatures, for developing methods of their modification to mitigate the negative effect on different spheres of human activities, for studying atmospheric optics, thunderstorm electricity, impact of geophysical processes on optical radiation propagation in the atmosphere, etc.
